A Bit About Me

I’m lucky to live in the beautiful country of New Zealand near the seaside city of Tauranga. My husband Lionel and I have a small farm where we’re surrounded by horses, goats, native birds and our much-loved pets, Lili the cat and dogs, Loki and Thor. I also help at our local animal shelter, the SPCA, and foster cats and kittens. So, as you can see, I’m a big animal lover. I guess it’s no surprise then that many of my books feature animals.

I also have a history degree and a great love of social history that is often reflected in my books. And I have a thirst for writing riveting adventure stories that draw the reader in. So far, I’ve written over sixty books for children and teens, and I just can’t stop!

I love hearing from my readers so please feel free to email me with any questions you might have. Thanks, and happy reading!
